Cookie Policy
Art. 1 What cookies are
1.1Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser or device. Other technologies work in a similar way, such as browser local storage (localStorage, sessionStorage), pixels and scripts that read or store information on your device. We use the collective term "cookies" for all of these technologies.
1.2First-party cookies are stored directly by the website pnhmedia.com. Third-party cookies are stored by other parties whose services the website uses (for example Microsoft or Google).
1.3By storage period, we distinguish session cookies, which are deleted when you close the browser, and persistent cookies, which remain stored for a set period or until you delete them manually.
Art. 2 Legal basis
2.1We may store or read information on your device only with your consent, except for cookies that are necessary to provide a service you have expressly requested (Section 89(3) of Act No. 127/2005 Coll., on Electronic Communications; for users from Slovakia, Section 109(8) of Act No. 452/2021 Coll. on Electronic Communications (Slovakia); Art. 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC).
2.2Subsequent processing of personal data obtained from cookies is governed by the GDPR. Detailed information on the processing of personal data is available in the Privacy Policy, in particular in Art. 3.2.
| Category | Purpose | Legal basis | Default state |
|---|---|---|---|
| Necessary | basic website functions, security, storing your choice in the cookie banner and the selected language | Section 89(3), second sentence, of Act No. 127/2005 Coll. (consent is not required); legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR | always active |
| Analytics | measuring traffic, analysing behaviour on the website, heatmaps and session recordings to improve the website | consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) | off |
| Marketing | measuring advertising effectiveness, remarketing, showing interest-based advertising | consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) | off |
2.3Without your consent, no analytics or marketing cookies are loaded on the website. Refusing consent does not affect your access to the website content.
Art. 3 Google Consent Mode v2
3.1The website uses Google Tag Manager and Google Consent Mode (Consent Mode v2). Before consent is given, all consent parameters are set to "denied" and Google tools do not store analytics or advertising cookies. After your choice in the cookie banner, the parameters are set as follows:
| Consent Mode parameter | Meaning | Category in the cookie banner |
|---|---|---|
| analytics_storage | storing cookies for analytics | Analytics |
| ad_storage | storing cookies for advertising | Marketing |
| ad_user_data | sending user data to Google for advertising purposes | Marketing |
| ad_personalization | advertising personalisation (remarketing) | Marketing |
| personalization_storage | storing settings for content personalisation | Marketing |
| functionality_storage | storing data necessary for website functions | Necessary (always enabled) |
| security_storage | storing data for security | Necessary (always enabled) |
3.2The website uses the basic Consent Mode: until you give consent to the relevant category, the Google Analytics and Google Ads tags are not loaded and no data is sent from them to Google, not even anonymous signals without cookies. Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag and Microsoft Clarity are likewise loaded only after you give consent.
Art. 4 How to give, change or withdraw consent
4.1On your first visit we show you a cookie banner with the buttons "Accept all", "Reject all" and "Settings". In the settings you can enable each category separately.
4.2You can change your choice or withdraw consent at any time by clicking the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page of the website. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it and does not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.
4.3We keep your choice for 6 months. After this period, or if we change the tools we use, we will ask you for a new choice.
4.4You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Instructions are provided by the browser vendors (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, Microsoft Edge). Blocking necessary cookies may limit how the website works.
4.5You can also restrict processing for advertising purposes in the advertising preference settings of the individual platforms (Google: adssettings.google.com, Meta: advertising preference settings in your Facebook and Instagram account, LinkedIn: advertising data settings in your profile).
Art. 5 Retention period
5.1The storage period of individual cookies is stated in the table in Art. 6. Data that tool providers obtain from cookies is retained by those providers under their own terms. For Microsoft Clarity, session recordings are generally retained for 30 days and aggregated heatmaps for up to 13 months. For Google Analytics 4, the user-level and event-level data retention period is set to 14 months.
